BIG 8 HEADS NORTH TO STATE PARK SPEEDWAY THIS FRIDAY NIGHT

This Friday night July 24th, “The Best Weekly Warriors in the Country” make their 9th trip to State Park Speedway in Wausau, Wisconsin as part of the annual Larry Detjens Memorial Race Weekend.
Last years event saw local driver Neil Knoblock take his first ever Big 8 Late Model Series feature win.
The entry list for Wausau boasts a worthy group of contenders including up and coming drivers Kahler and Nottestad both capturing wins earlier this month at Rockford and Slinger respectively. Joined by Big 8 veterans Reynolds, Gille, and Egan. Also entered are a strong Minnesota contingent including Kirberger, Borchardt, Brown, Ostdiek, Oxborough, and Duda.
Pit Gates open this Friday at 3PM, Practice at 4PM, Drivers Meeting at 5:15PM, Qualifying at 6:10PM, and the First Race at 7:00PM. Also in action will be the Mini Mod's, Mini Stocks, as well as the Bandoleros.
