BIG MONEY ON THE LINE AS PART OF MADISON BIG 8 SHOWDOWN

On Friday night August 4, the “Best Weekly Warriors in the Country” return to a familiar location with over 2,000 reasons to claim victory.

When the Big 8 Late Model Series rolls into Madison International Speedway, they’ll be racing for the biggest Limited Late Model purse in the history of “Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile.”

The ‘Liuna! Local 464’ 48 lap feature race boasts a nearly $15,000 purse including $2,000 to the winner and $464 dollars to start.

Twenty-four cars are slated to start the big-money showcase.

A breakdown of the purse is as follows:

3. $1000

4. $700

5. $600

6. $550

7. $530

8. $520

9. $510

10. $500

11- 24. $464

1st and 8th place qualifiers will also pick up $88 dollar bonuses, while Non-Qualifiers also pickup purse money ranging from $175-250.

Pit Gates open on Friday August 4 at 2:30 PM, with Practice set to begin at 4:45 PM. Qualifying rolls off at 6:15 PM and the racing program begins at 7:30 PM.
