Spring Classic Postponed One Week

The Spring Classic and open practice at Grundy County Speedway have been postponed one week. Wet and chilly weather has delayed the completion of track projects, which presents a safety issue. 

While we are disappointed and understand the inconvenience this is for our racers, fans, and other tracks, safety to all is important to the Big 8 Series.

Practice scheduled for Friday, April 19th will now take place on Friday, April 26th. Pits open at 4pm with practice running from 5-9pm. 

On Saturday, April 27th the pits will open at 12:30pm and racing will begin at 5pm. The rain date will be on Sunday, April 28th. 

We look forward to seeing all of you next Saturday for the 47th annual Spring Classic and the start to our season.
